Trials and valleys Pt.2

Understanding God the Father
Has your mother, father, or guardian ever allowed you to go through something with little interference?
For example, as a baby learning to walk, your mother and father would watch as you fell, got back up, and tried again and again. Your mother might sometimes overreact to your fall—not out of fear or because you were seriously hurt, but simply because of a mother's love. However, your father is there as an anchor for both your mother and you. He is there as an overseer and protector and will only interfere when it is truly needed.
Fathers and father figures are the imperfect physical personification of who God is. In the physical world, fathers are seen by their families as protectors, leaders, providers, and a source of stability. Understanding the role of our earthly fathers will deepen our understanding of who God the Father truly is.

The Growth Formula
G(God)+ T(Trial)= g(Growth)
G(God) + V(Valley) = T(Transformation)
In the previous example, learning to walk is a trial that all of us who are born with working legs must go through during the toddler phase. Going through it causes us to grow in our motor skills. But the toddler phase isn't just about learning to walk. You're learning the language of your parents, how to eat with your hands, how to express your feelings, and so much more.
To simply put it, the toddler phase is a longgggg valley that you don't remember, but I guarantee your parents do. It is a season of failing, learning, and even pain. Through the valley of toddlerhood, you transform from a baby with little motor skill and no language into a child who can walk, communicate, and no longer be fully reliant on your parents for everything.
Why the Hardship
Remember, when you're going through a hard couple of weeks, months, or even years, that God the Father has placed you there for a reason. You are destined to become so much greater than who you are now. However, you must go through the fire to truly be transformed. Psalm 66 speaks about how God tests us and refines us like silver.
You are a precious and valuable metal encased in rubble in God's eyes. He sees your true potential. He sees who you really are and who you are destined to become. But to uncover the precious metal that He sees in you, He has to walk you through the fire to truly transform you.

Verse of the day
1Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Thank You
